welcome back raven. i have everything loose while people get used to the new format, but in the future try to remember to attach an image to your posts (even if it's totally unrelated). It makes finding threads easier.

Yes. Actually it works EXACTLY like a normal forum, except instead of each post being represented by the thread title you see the very first and 4 most recent posts along with a picture.
Another question, are the two posts you made on the Gear and Skills page just examples? OR do you actually carry round a crystal eye......

As difficult as it is for me to imagine, there are probably still some people on the internet who have never heard of 4chan or 2ch and are experiencing the typical image board nausia everyone experiences: "What the hell am I looking at? How do I know who's making these posts? How do people know it's me? Where does one thread stop and another start?" here's a brief orientation:-The original idea of an image board is for someone to post a photo of something, say their cat, and everyone to discuss it and contribute their own photos of cats if they want. Each thread is headed by a photo (but replies can also have photos). The main photo is used to identify the thread quickly for people to lazy to read. The 4 most recent replies are shown in grey boxes under the thread, and hitting [Reply] will show ALL comments on that thread. Anything not in a grey box is actually its own entire thread.-There is no registration, there are no user accounts kept on file anywhere, and the database only consists of the actual posts themselves. If you leave the name section blank it just calls you "Survivor" which is good if you feel people usually discriminate against your ideas or if you're about to voice what you feel is an unpopular opinion.-Since anyone can just type anything into the name box it's easy to pretend to be someone else and hard to get an accurate count on your users. You have to actually use your memory to remember individual people. Since I administer here I'm going to be using tripcode to identify myself, and you can do the same. Comment too long. Final thing, when you're done you'll find a [Home] link at the top. The boards dont map to each other so moving from Splat to Guns requires you to go home first. I'm working on adding better linking systems right now.
